HOW TO HAVE A HAPPIER AND BETTER DAY! Part 2

As a self-help writer and motivational speaker, I have talked to many folks who feel that they will be happy “someday,” when they have enough money, the right job, the perfect house, the ideal car, the right body, the proper look, their perfect mate, et cetera! Sadly, many people never reach that point, but they spend a lifetime looking forward to some future date when everything will be “just right” with them or with their life.

Meanwhile, they are not enjoying the world in front of them right now! They don’t have fun, they cannot relax, they have trouble sleeping, and they constantly live in fear, worried, with pain and suffering. What’s the point of all that? Seems ridiculous to me.

Why not try to enjoy your life, when you’re in between the working and the sleeping? Why put off your enjoyment of life, until some future time, which might never come?

Remember the awesome words from John Lennon: “Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans.” How profound and how true those words are!

Another key to happiness is to “let things go,” as in…when someone is a jerk or they are rude. There’s no point in getting worked up, losing sleep, or getting angry and having it make your stress levels rise, along with your blood pressure, and who know’s what else!

When you choose to be happier and you choose to look at things in a “good” light, your life will be better! People would rather hire people who seem happy, they would rather buy things from people who act happy, they would rather make friends with people who ARE happy! You can choose to be that happy person, the one who people will want to deal with!
